So as not to leave you hanging, sorry no I do not. I did have one on my 2006 C2S which did cover a sheared off flywheel once, not covered by the Porsche warranty. So they can be useful. For me, the 987.2 Spyders I've owned have been very very problem free. Some have experience water pump failure but nothing more exciting than that.
Good luck on you hunt and keep us posted.

I purchased a warranty from Fidelity for my RS60. They seem to be what the dealer sells/recommends. You can buy them from anyone who reps Fidelity. I forget who I bought mine from but there was a massive price difference between dealers. Never needed it for a single repair in 3 years fortunately - literally nothing went wrong with the car, but I only drove it 10k miles total.

I purchased one from Warranty Solutions ( a Wells Fargo Company ) on my 2013 Boxster 981. I used it the first year on a failed High Pressure Fuel Pump and paid $200 deductible on a $1200 repair. They have many packages / inclusions / exclusions so ensure you choose carefully. One package I should of purchased but did not was the electronics package which covers Top motors, ignition, entertainment, etc. I think I paid $2600 for 3 years/100k whichever comes first.

So your still $1600 in the hole!

My wife and I always own (at least) 3 vehicles, a family sedan, a small truck, and a sport/performance toy (currently a '14 Camry, '12 Tacoma, and my '11 Cayman). We drive a cumulative average of 45K miles/year, and normally keep vehicles 7-8 years/100-120K miles. My total cumulative repair cost for all vehicles combined over the last 15 years is less than $2500.
If I actually anticipated that a prospective auto purchase would cost over $2500 over the next 3 years, I wouldn't even consider buying it.

Your odds in Vegas are lots better than your odds with an extended warranty!

thanks for the commentary, I am aware that most folks don't get hit with big issues and the warranty they purchased was never used, on the other hand I did it, some inner voice said don't take any chances, these cars (2011 987.2 Spyder) have expensive parts and electrical stuff. I did a 5-year platinum (everything) with Porsche for $5050. I did research on other company warranty programs and they were a lot more expensive, drive train no; platinum yes.

It is really very simple. The insurance companies are not in business to lose money. The odds are that you will lose money if you purchase one. These cars are very reliable. It boils down to can you afford to fix a problem on the off chance one arrives. If you can't then get a warranty. If you can then save your money. I know we will hear back from the guy who one time hit 18 in blackjack and got a 3, but the odds are that won't happen very often and the odds are you won't use your warranty. I have owned four different water cooled Porsche vehicles and have never had a significant expense beyond normal maintenance.
