Default question before buying

I have been looking for a design edition 1. I came across one locally in the last week. The car seems to be in great condition, but the ad says that "a new Porsche engine was installed 3k miles ago due to a warranty related item". The owner elaborated further that "one of the cylinders came out of alignment and made it extremely sluggish". He says it was replaced under warranty at the local Porsche dealer (he has all the paperwork).

Is this something I should be concerned about? It seems like a dealer replaced factory engine wouldn't be a bad thing.

If the replacement was done by a authorized Porsche dealer and covered under warranty, you can't get better than that. An earlier model of GT3 had a rod failure on a significant number of cars and had their engines replaced, some before ever being sold......
