I recently bought a Sport Design Steering Wheel for my 2013 981 Boxster. It was a standard OEM Wheel 991-044-400-00 A34(PDK). The wheel did not fit because the inside diameter of the wheel basket was about 1mm too large. It was too loose and the splines didn’t line up I got my money back. Why is there a difference between my 2013 981 and other 981s. The wheel above fits very other 981 Boxster ( that’s what the dealer tells me), so it is not a defect Did Porsche start making their steering columns 1 mm larger sometime in late 2012. The build date on the car is Nov 2012. Or does my car have a 2012 987 steering column and wheel?
