Maybe too late. some clubs let you use a motorcycle helmet. Our region loans open face helmets. If allowed I would use one of your helmets that is snell 2010 or 2015. something you are familiar with. There will be enough new things affecting your sensory/perception that having a helmet you are familiar with will help. The first day is sensory overload for most people

But in my 40 years of racing bikes, motorcycles, cars, boats, skateboards, downhill ski etc.... helmets that have the SNELL rating are good helmets regardless of price.
The extra money for the same SNELL rated hat is for; design, comfort, airflow and the big one weight. Ill add marketing and branding much like the Porsche tax.
No question the more money you spend on your HAT the more comfort you'll have. Weight and design and materials are better the higher up the price line you drive.

Stilo ST5 is the standard for a reason. Bell makes good stuff too.
