Default 987.2 bluetooth doesn't work help!

So i have a 09 boxster with the cdr30 oem stereo and the oem bluetooth option but the stereo says no phone connected and it doesnt allow me to hook up my phone and ideas how to fix this?

Same issue. I had to go to dealer, they fiddled with it, it worked for one year, then same problem again.

did they charge you? My car is salvaged and out of warranty.

hasnt worked since ive owned the car but i got it used and has the original window sticker that bluetooth was added

Same thing happened to me. Bluetooth worked fine for 4 yrs, then it just stopped. It still has my phone listed, but can't connect to it. My phone connects to my toyota truck no problem.

When I switched to the iPhone 6S I noticed that my Bluetooth doesn’t automatically connect, I have to physically connect it on my phone. Once connected it stays connected until I shut off the car. This type result reinforces my reasoning for not wanting my Porsches laden with navigation and phone connectivity bells and whistles like CarPlay etc. It’s usually a short matter of time before they’re obsolete and you have a useless device in your dash.
