Got the IPD Plenum & GT3 TB installed.

Had to order an Optima redtop since the OEM-looking battery is of unknown age. Should have it installed by next week and I can do a ROM dump and get this Cobb AP thing sorted hopefully...

Drove home from work for the first time with the plenum installed, there's definitely better throttle response starting around 3-4k even without a tune. Engine revs a tad bit faster.

Again, this is just my butt dyno and your result may vary.

Check engine light came on this morning. Will have to talk to the mechanic to see if he disconnected the battery doing the plenum install.

Spoke to Greg @ IPD. He said 99.9% of the time it's the 2 hose clamps between the TB and MAF sensor that came loose after driving. He said, touch it, feel it, check with a mirror from underneath to make sure it's 100% secure.

Back to the mechanic...

The check engine light turned off after I put a tank of gas in this morning. They double checked all the connections along with going for a long test drive to ensure nothing came loose. They suspect the plenum didn't get a proper seal from the manifolds.

Finally got around to installing an Optima Redtop 34R. The OEM Moll battery appears to have a date code of 0984 (2009, 84th day)?

Did the ROM dump on the Cobb AP and sent the file to Cobb this morning.

Just got a response from Cobb support this morning that they have published a beta firmware for the AP that is compatible with my ECU/DME.

I will have to find a quiet stretch of road in the city to do the datalog which will be interesting...

Did the Stage 1 flash and there's a noticeable difference with the butt dyno.

Waiting for the Pro Tune file from Fabspeed as they sent me the wrong file with incorrect ECU ID.

Finally got the Protune installed.

There's definitely a big difference, power comes on much earlier and there's less need to shift at redline. The car pulls on the highway on 6th gear.

We've been getting rain in the past 2 days so I haven't been able to do WOT, especially with these winter tires on.

I suspect modifying the throttle body plate position on the IPD/GT3 TB made a big difference.
