Default Grand Tour of Switzerland - rental car prices...

So I'm doing a few legs of the Grand Tour of Switzerland this summer and wanted to rent a convertible. They're getting over $700 a day for a 718 Boxster. Ouch. I really want to do it up right but I can't see $700+ a day to rent an $80,000 car. Might have to be the $250 a day Audi.

On another note, have any of you fine folks driven the Swiss Apline roads and can recommend two or three stretches that are not to be missed? I have about three days of driving to do and the rest will be by train and foot.

Rent a car directly from Porsche in Stuttgart and drive in a few hours to Swiss.

Hi.

The grimsel, susten, gotthard, klausen, stbernard, fluela passes are all recommended. The nufenen is a series of concrete sections that aren’t very pleasant.

Switzerland is the most expensive country in Europe for everything.

You can rent Porsches from Avis Prestige in Germany from plenty of locations...
