Can't you just park one in the driveway, or (gasp) street park it? I've seen 991.2 Targa and AMG GTS street parked, and Rolls-Royce Phantom and Mercedes-Benz G550 4x4^2 parked on driveways.

Hey Dave - I never did see your Spyder but I am sure it was exceptional. Congrats to the new owner!

Now, if I recall, you have one heck of a PTS / LTS Targa build coming. Would you mind sharing that?

Thanks!

I'm not sure what LTS is (but DPA = Damn Porsche Acronyms) but my Targa isn't PTS, in fact you know the color well as you had it on "Perseus".

Not sure that my build is all that special, but I'm happy with it. Here's a link for anyone looking to kill some time:http://www.porsche-code.com/PJUL8277

Flamesuit onesie is now zipped up (how's that for a visual?).

Just piling on with the congrats, crossroads! You found a great seller and a great Spyder. Dave's Pepita seat inserts are really cool.

I'm considering that, but I'm not a big fan of having a covered car on the driveway 24/7 and I'm really particular about my cars. But I am considering it. I would do that before I sold the car though.

I forgot to say congrats on the new house - sounds like a lovely location!

How much height do you have in the garage? I'll be going the BendPak route.

Thanks. We're really excited about the move. Been looking down there for a long time.

No room for any type of lift. Low ceiling and bedroom above garage.

Lift all the way into a bedroom! Or.... keep one at work and rotate that way?

Funny thing is it was originally a long garage that would have fit two cars end to end, but they remodeled and took about 1/3rd of the garage for an office. Already asked the wife if I could knock down the wall and reclaim the space. You can imagine her answer.
