Unhappy Fault Cooling System reset

Hi,
I have the 'Fault Cooling System Visit Garage' yellow message on my 2013 981S :-(

Does this fault need to be cleared by dealer or will the warning go away if the fault is fixed - i.e. if I find it's a vaccum hose that is loose and reseal it will the warning go away if that was the issue? or does the warning stay until reset by the diagnostic port.

Also, apart from the much discussed PSE vacuum hoses are there other things I should check?

Borrow a Cobb Accessport or Durametric or other code reader from a friend and see what the OBD 2 code is that is causing the message. But that can also lead to ambiguous indications and not pinpoint the cause. Another route is to search the internet with the exact string of the message with 981 in the search and spend an hour or so reading through results. Or visit an independent shop that specializes in Porsches. And then there is always the stealership.

Had that on my 15 GT3. The thermostat failed in the open position. Took a long time for the water temp to come up.
