The saga continues.

Brake pedal still doesn't feel right, like there's some stiction but only noticeable at slow speeds. The noise is gone but it's definitely not the same. Made an appointment this morning and prior to dropping it off, the "brake fluid level" warning came on. I had been keeping an eye on the bleeder screws but didn't notice them leaking, yet when I popped off the plastic cover, sure enough it was low. Fluid level as the bottom of the "M" for Min. Topped it off and headed over.

The shop foreman couldn't replicate it after driving around the lot a few times so they decided to at least look for any leaks. While waiting, the service manager came over and suggested I bring it back when a factory rep is available. Definitely appreciate them looking into it more for me, but also frustrated that they weren't able to replicate the issue.

Good news and bad news.

Good news: the leak was identified and the pedal feel is pretty much like before.

Bad news: you can't trust techs to clean up after themselves.

The leak was coming from the clutch master cylinder which they replaced. It was leaking at the firewall:

I don't remember the discoloration in that area but I can't say for sure. I did find this piece of foam insulation that looks like it was cut at some point during the repair:

But the worst part was when we removed the plastic cover in the frunk, there was brake fluid all over the place below the reservoir.

I get spills happen but how do you not clean that up?! They also never bothered to look by the pedals as brake fluid had leaked into the cabin.

This is why I hate going to the dealer but I'm not gonna do all this work myself when I'm already paying for the warranty.
