Oh and detailing is a slippery slope....just like track crack. You get a taste and next thing you know you've gone way beyond what you intended.
Yeah, I can see that. I thought my car was clean until I put it up on the lift and saw all of the marks on the bottom side...

I know what you mean.
Since I have gotten my new car almost 2 months ago, I have had 3 shipments from detail sites come to my house. My latest purchase is coming Friday. That is what I get for buying a black car. Gtechniq XO and CI are going to be applied this weekend

What are the height requirements in order to install a lift like that?

Congrats again it looks great...
Buck, sorry I never responded. I somehow missed your post.

Height requirements:
height of both cars plus 8" is the minimum you need. A spyder and GT3 are each 50", so I wanted minimum of 108". I have 116" of garage height, so I have some small room to spare.

Flooring is PEI grade 5 porcelain tile, 12x24".

I dropped a tire iron on the floor from shoulder height by accident the other day. Zero damage.
My only complaint is that the dirt/leaves/debris that get blown into the garage is easily seen, so I find myself brooming the garage every few days to keep things looking good.

The downside to any garage floor that has a consistent color (ie not a flecked epoxy) is that dirt, grass and leaves show very easily on the floor and you need to stay on top of it to keep it looking nice. The white tile I have in my garage is a PITA to keep clean but I still prefer it over the concrete.

Bought online from Greg smith equipment. Shipped from Oregon and arrived in 2 days.

Picked up from freight terminal and installed by local business: all shop equipment.

A few small updates to the garage. Finally found a good use for my PCCB rotors!

Poster is temporary for now. Might get something fancier later.

That's a great clock! I would make one minor change with numbers in red instead of black but otherwise it's a work of art (and damn pricey!)

That is a great use of the rotor. Have you seen the new clock the Porsche sells?

My buddy suggested the same. I kind of like the 'subtle' look of black. Plus I'm too lazy at this point to pull the clock back down and re-do it. LOL.

Question, what kind of maintenance lift do you have installed here? Is that unique to the lift?

I have a storage lift in my garage, but I've never figured out how to get it up on jackstands on the lift for maintenance like this.
