Default looks nice

But north of $70k seems high. On the other hand a carbon bucketed Spyder with PCCB' and a six speed. It may well be worth the price. Those wheels, easy as they are to change out, why were they spec'd? Easily the heaviest wheel Porsche makes!

Help me understand how Spyder wheels are easily the heaviest Porsche makes when the initial marketing program specifically called attention to their being lightweight.

Take a look at the car again. It doesn't have the spyder wheels. Dealers have been known to spec these cars without spyder wheels. Who knows why anyone would do that...

Surprised it doesn't have Xenon or Nav since everything else was checked off.

Two options that don't help for track use?

With the options this car has, doubt it was made for the track.

The wheels are not boat anchors by any means. 2lbs a wheel heavier than the spyder wheels so dont perpetuate myths. If anything talk about how the Spyder wheels could have been better..... Also, I think these look just as nice.

So you all passed on this because it didn't have spyder wheels?? Your all funny.

This car has everything that is right in a spec'd boxster. This was not a dealership spec'd car either. Previous owner has two the same one in red.

Sport Buckets, PCCB, Short Shift, Sport Exhaust, All Alcantera, the right color!!! Ive never seen one this nice, ever. Glad it sold quickly.....

Drop in a Lithium Battery and a LTW flywheel and get it down another 30lbs+ and liven it up just a tad. It has the added comfort of A/C which is nice when you absolutely have to drive in hot weather. Radio is 10lbs and can be removed. Speakers came in the car no matter what, I believe.

This was a missed opportunity for anyone who saw it and is looking for a Spyder.

Or the seller? BTW, I don't disagree with your assessment regarding the wheels.

Shes mine now........... My baby CGT.

I have an E36 LTW too that seemed to be a perfect sister car going forward. There was no option for radio or AC in that car but the speakers are there. I could have sworn I saw pictures with no radio that still showed speakers in the doors on a Spyder.

The grille is there on the doors and rear quarter plastic but there is nothing behind them.
The wiring, however, is there for addition later if one wishes.
