Default 987 Spyder

Hey guys, so it's that time again. Summer roadtrip with me and my son. I live in Florida, but plan on shipping the car out West to save time and get to the parts we want to drive an explore this summer. I plan on shipping to Salt Lake City area to begin but I am open...

So, I need a good Indy shop for some brake work. I am thinking it's time for the GT3 Master cylinder upgrade and after my front brakes have warped rotors (3 times now and only has 14,000 miles) I want to upgrade for both feel and durability.

Has anyone with a Spyder done this upgrade?

I'm not sure how a GT3 master would help with this issue. Very bizarre you had this happen three times though? In any case, warping is kind of a myth. Good read on it here. https://www.onallcylinders.com/2017/...yths-debunked/

What kind of pads are you using and are they leaving build-up?

Best way to improve feel and durability is to quit braking so much. Use brakes only in an emergency.

Thanks daylorb.

I am using all Porsche OEM parts and they were installed at Porsche dealer.

My understanding was that the GT3 MC helps with the notoriously soft 987 brake feel....

Okay good to hear- did you do anything else in the system with it or that change alone helped?
