235/35/20 265/35/20 vs 245/35/20 275/35/20
Anyone with personal experience of upsizing? Pros/cons for street and some track duty? Can you feel the extra tire slowing down the acceleration or feels close to stock? Any input is appreciated!

Better grip with the wider tires obviously. A recent switch from RE-71Rs back to Cup 2s shed 14 lbs of tire weight which was noticeable the minute I drove out of the shop's parking lot. Accelerated a little faster and less pedal pressure for the brakes to get the same stopping force. A pound or two per tire might not to be too noticeable, but 3-4 pounds per tire is most definitely noticeable.

I am going this route. Recently bought a used set of OEM 8.5 x 20/10 x 20 wheels with the OEM 235/265 P Zeros. The wheels are 1/2" wider than the original 8.0/9.5 and now the wheels look wider than the tires' tread width. I am going with the PS4S in 245/275. I could probably go even wider without scraping but do not want to make the overall diameter bigger. I will post my impressions in a week or two.

I ordered a set of PS4S in the 245/275 combo from the Tire Rack today. The 245/275 combo (non-N version) was actually cheaper than the 235/265 N0 combo. The gross price was $1,267.88 for the set of 4. The shipping was $36.58 and Tire Rack discount -$43.12 which brought the net price down to $1,261.34. In addition, Michelin is running a $70 rebate program until 4/19 and it will bring down the final price to $1,191.34. Sweet!
Have an appointment for this Friday to have the tires mounted.

I've got the 19's in the stock sizes on my 987.2 (RE71 235/265) and once the Apex wheels finally come in I'm going to 245/40/18 and 275/35/18 in NT01's. Doesn't help you at the moment but I had the same question. I will report back when I get them on the car in a few months.

Okay, I got the PS4S in the 245/275 combo mounted this morning. While the 235's sidewall was stretching out on the 8.5" rim, with the 245 it looks straighter. However, the 275 still looks pretty much the same as the 267 did, the sidewall stretching out. I may try the 285 for the rear next time, but while 275/35/20 is only 0.3" taller than the stock size, 285/35/20 will be 0.6" taller and 285/30/20 will be 0.5" shorter than stock. Just from brief normal street driving, the feel was pretty much identical to stock. I didn't feel the tires heavier or slowing the acceleration. As I drive more on these tires, I may feel differently. I will report back if I find any difference.

265/35/20 P Zero on 10 x 20 rim in rear. The sidewall is stretching out.
275/35/20 PS4S on 10 x 20 rim in rear. The sidewall is still stretching out.

Thanks or the pics and thoughts on the 245/275’s! I have the stock 20 in Carrera S rims so a bit more narrow than your turbo rims. More or less made up my mind on the 245/275 setup rather than stock. Will be getting it done in the next couple weeks and will post once it is done.

Not to worried about tire noise as I am typically the only one in the car. Mainly looking for overall tire dry grip performance and lasting wear. I will be using this tire as mainly normal spirited driving with an occasional track/autocross day. Thanks again for the pics, gives me a much better idea of how the Michelin’s will look! I had contemplated the continental extreme contact sport tires, but after hearing reviews of the Michelin’s i think the extra cash might be worth it.
