If more #3s knew other #3s were around... you wouldn't need a type 4 or 5.

anyway - thanks for the kind words.

Best of luck, beautiful car.

I need A/C because my wife is high maintenance.

Such a great car, wish an easy way to add it back in...if there was I'm sure you would have that info handy.

Cheers

I went on a Paleo diet. I lost 20+ lbs. I now have the fastest Spyder.

I asked the dealer about isntalling the automatic climate control module instead of my manual one, and after a bit of hem and hawing i got the answer. as these spyders are truly becoming rare on the ground at this point, I would check into this. This AC delete option is a bit silly in my mind, but if you live in the right part of the country you could argue that you don't need it.. (i use it all the time in SF) just to defog in the mornings. It's a beatiful and flawless car otherwise with the very desirable LWB.. make it happen man!

If i'm not mistaken, I thought there are countless after market "cooling solutions" that could satisfy the few moments in which someone would want some cold air blowing in their face. I'd gladly reduce the price to make that a possibility for an interested party.

I'm seriously looking at that. I can't afford another battery, it's a bit of a job to yank the radio, etc... Thanks for the idea!

The weight savings from A/C delete on the 987 Spyder were approx.

What was the weight savings from just a radio delete?

Do radio delete cars come with speakers anyway? If not, then there's that weight too.

If I'm not mistaken the radio delete also removes the speakers but it does leave the areas so you can add them back. I'm not sure if the wiring is also removed, would be curious to know that.

Ugh I don't think I can do the paleo diet but that Remus titanium exhaust would certainly help.

Actually I have lost 15 lbs since I bought the Spyder 5 years ago. But I'm not counting that.
