Default LWBS leather issue - GT4/Spyder

Is anyone having an issue with the thigh bolster leather creasing on their P11 LWBS? Mine is doing this and I am not sure if it is normal.

I have noticed it on a few photos form different cars, but no first hand experience (yet). Basis those photos, seems like it could be the norm.

The GT2 seats had a somewhat similar issue although not as prevalent. The bigger issue was the leather wear/tear on the outer/lower bolster. The key is not to sit on the edge of the seat to get in/out of the car.

i have tried getting in and out of the LWB in a gt3RS, and it was very tough to not slide over the external bolster. Takes full upper body strength lifting myself in and out of the seat.. like a parallel beam exercise in gymnastics.

I'm considering adding some kind of leather cover/protector over it as "grandpa-ish" as that sounds.

I've seen pads added for GT2 or CGT seats. CAIexio- the seats are no joke if you want to get out w/o sliding.

i think that some wear is unavoidable. You cannot get out without a little bit of sliding. However, the issue i have is with a crease. The car is only one month old.

GT4 owner here with LWBS. I've attached a photo from two Spyders that shows the location of the crease on the passenger seat thigh bolster.

I have the same crease and I've seen this same crease on four or five other LWBS. It makes me think that something is being stored there during transport from the factory and causing this.

SteveInNj, do you have a similar crease in the drivers seat?

I use a bolster protector to reduce the creasing. I got it on eBay.

Link please? I know they existed for the folding back bucket seats (P08) but I didn't think there were any for these 918 style seats (P11) yet.

It's not custom made for these seats. So they don't fit perfectly. I just use these as it's better than no protection at all.
