Well done! For those of you who have not gone before, you need to get accommodations as soon as possible, prices will continue to rise and availability will become nonexistent.
If you want to park in the Porsche corral (usually done through PCA) you need to book soon as made available, this always sells out.
If you want to camp at Laguna Seca, you need to book this as soon as made available.

Spyder Sightings at RR
As you might expect, there was a good turnout of Spyders at RR with 987's far outnumbering 981's, at least to my unofficial count. Here's a few:
Yours truly
It was great getting to meet several of you. Satisfaction among Spyder owners I talked to is astonishingly high and no less than three non-owners approached me in the corral with essentially the same question: "Are these cars as amazing as everyone says?"
Love the addition of this window decal:
But no idea where to put this groovy dash plaque, which is too wide to fit on the cupholder trim pieces.
Mark, I saw what I assume is your beautiful Aqua Spyder in the corral and had to chuckle when I saw another 987 Spyder from Washington with a close variation on your license plate. Clearly, one of you got your first-choice plate while the other had to settle for their second choice

I got a chance to admire your Spyder in the corral. Glad I got to attend, but sad the event is over!!!

You're right. He's asked me let him know when I sell my 987 so he could get the plate. I'm on the waiting list for a new one next year - we'll see.
Did anyone see the red 987 Spyder that was severely damaged on Friday morning around 730 AM? I saw the car on Thursday and talked with the owners. A couple of fellow PNWR members originally thought that I had been hit. The story was he was coming down one of the steeper hills and was abruptly told to stop by one of the Jr cops. Behind him was an older camper that could not stop in time. Apparently the camper hit him so hard it went up on his trunk. Ugh. Anyone else see it being hauled away on a flat bed truck?
