Yes, the stock Pirelli PZero's. I sure I would have had better grip and more confidence to push through the turns with the MPSC2's. The stock tires are 235/265, so adding width would help, plus everyone raves about the grip in those Michelins. I only heard tire squeal (indicative of being near the limit) in a few turns though. I really wasn't wanting to push it in this car. Didn't want to risk any offs in this beauty. Pushing it is Boxzilla's role! :-)

Did anyone receive an actual Spyder owner's manual with their car or just a GTS version?

Update: I did a RTFM. The Spyder stuff is sprinkled throughout the manual.

The manual is an epic read. I think I made it through 25% of the material. I need to pick it up again and get through it.

I also want to add that the Burmester stereo is awesome.

Dumb question: WTF is a RFTM?.. Cause I want an epic read during this last week of waiting

Yes, I do have the stereo on while driving. I have 6000 plus miles already and the car is a dream come true. I'm pondering buying a second one, but that would be stupid right?! What's nice about the stereo is that it sounds better the louder it is which usually isn't the case in most auto sound systems.

OK I have about 80 miles on the Spyder since picking up from the dealer today. Steering and brakes are fantastically light compared to my 987 Cayman and the car is attached to the road as on rails. The noises are fantastic along with the power available. The clutch is a little heavier but no problem. The shifter is pretty stiff which hopefully will ease with break-in. Twice I thought I had selected 1 and got third.

It looks like the sun visors only lower and don't swivel.

Sorry to say for those in the north I had to put the roof up in the afternoon as I was getting too much sun even with a hat.

What is the battery technology delivered with the Spyder? It is a sealed battery but has a vent hose. The dealer was not convincing. I want to set the CTEK properly if the battery is indeed AGM.
