There are at least two guys over there who you still owe refunds to:
jazza08
theedge111
And this is what the head Moderator of Audizine, Anthony, wrote about you just two days ago, in that thread...
Matt at oCarbon had been a longtime and upstanding sponsor of Audizine, and so I'm absolutely shocked by what's happened here. But whether a company has been advertising here for 5 years or 5 days, this sort of thing cannot fly. His advertising privileges have been revoked, and if any of you would like my help in attempting to get your product or money, please email me: anthony@audizine.com

I've been speaking with Jazza now and have been getting things sorted with him since before you've posted.
TheEdge's parts are in transit. He lives in the middle of nowhere Canada so it takes some time. He's purchased parts from me several times before, and has been a difficult customer to deal with. I've tried to do him right by giving him discounts on his repeated purchases but I just can't seem to make him happy. I'm confident than when his parts show up, I'll be vindicated.
So thats the two customers that I've been speaking to about getting things sorted with before you got involved (I stated as much in my original response to you).
Any others because I'm pretty sure thats it...

This is news to me, as no one informed me of this. I guess thats the way it goes though.
Yeah, that's the way it goes. Glad that rennlisters outed this guy quickly and if some unhappy customers get sorted then that would be a good thing.
After reading those angry posts with no response from this dude it seems obvious that these people were getting screwed. Once the moderator got involved it doesn't matter what this guys excuses are now.
Neither of those guys have gotten their money back, or the product.
You gave Edge a bogus tracking number, and he's been waiting for the product forever. With no product at this point, you owe him over a thousand bucks.
Jazza is still awaiting his refund, despite what you say. Send it to him NOW! No more bull****.
Sort these guys out NOW and maybe you can regain 1% of your reputation. Vindication? LOL Good luck.
It took a while for me to receive my 981 CF material from Matt but he did an exceptional job. Yes, I'm still waiting for my refund for sending him the OEM parts. He emailed this morning mentioning the check will be sent this week. I'll keep everyone posted once the check arrives and clears.

Even if you have a good experience, it wouldn't mean a damn thing. Most scam artists will always deliver the goods at the beginning to earn a reputation and encourage others to place orders.
The subsequent customers are the ones who will get screwed. Of course you're going to have a good experience given the backlash he has received.

Exactly. Just like Madoff had endless supporters prior to everything melting down. Trust is established with positive consumer experiences. Until one day, the whole thing explodes and anyone holding the hot potato gets screwed.
If you look at the thread on AZ, most of the guys that waited the longest before demanding a refund were previous customers that initially trusted Matt.
Trust was built up over years, and then finally a group buy was setup taking lots of money up front for a product that apparently could not be produced by oCarbon. The group buy was initiated back in August 2014, and least two guys are still awaiting refunds from Matt.
How long have they been waiting for a refund? My order was placed end of October 2014 and received January 2015. Matt's been responsive with the refund, claiming the check was sent on Monday.
I'm not defending him, I'm letting everyone know what my experience was.

No one is disputing your experience, but others have not shared the same.
Have you read the Audizine thread? I read it from start to finish, and formed my opinion based on that, and direct communication with the people still awaiting refunds.
CTS-V owners are also starting to get the Matt treatment. I'm also not involved in the group buy but I'm not for someone blatantly lying and ripping people off either.
Here's my speculation. I don't think he necessarily sets out to scam people, but he is in over his head with the mirrors.
He needed the money upfront to pay for all the material and supplies. He botched up a bunch of lights, has no money to refund the other customers. Poor business management and negative cash flow.
Customers like Paul1138, he wants to make you happy so you will come back as a repeat customer. He is able to deliver on your product as he was able to use your money to build you a 1 of 1 product.
The only way he's going to get out of this mess is continue fulfilling these orders until he has positive cash flow to pay the rest of the people who he wasted material cost on products that didn't up materializing.
On one hand, you do have to respect him for not sending customers crappy products that he wasn't 100% satisfied. He also can't come out and say he ran out of the money from the group buy from the bad products that came out of it and he can't refund people.
