test mule lights ( incl DRLs and rears) are often covered by transparent decals that are printed with an image of current car's lights ( or a totally phony design ) , so no way to know what facelifted light units look like unless you can get a spy pic from inches away ..they have done that for years

There were some significant updates for the 987 refresh (a brand new IMS-less engine, standard six speed (versus 5), LED tail and marker lights, brake upgrades for the base, hill-holder function, new audio systems, improved TPMS system, new wheel designs, improved Xenons, and redesigned tail-lights). It will be interesting to see if Porsche is equally aggressive with the 981 refresh.
