I recently had my 981 covered with Xpel full front and behind the rear tires. No orange peel, bugs come off easily and you can't tell it's there. Really don't care about future removal since I don't ever plan to take it off. BTW, saved over $800 on installation by not using my dealer.

I just have one word of advise: DO NOT leave dead bugs on the clearbra if you're traveling, and it's hot. I did, and the clearbra was permanently etched. Tried everything. In retrospect, should have asked the hotel for a throwaway towel and remove them at night. Bottom line is clearbra is nice, but it's more delicate than paint when it comes to bug crap. Hope this helps somebody avoid what happened to me. I'm quite **** with my vehicles, but I don't like having to wash it when I'm traveling. But the job I suggested at the hotel every night would be a lot less hassle IMO. Have a good one.

If traveling, remember to bring a detail spray or spray wax, and a micro fiber towel. They will take bugs & bug guts off clear bras very quickly and easily (without marring your clear bra finish).

My Xpel installer gave me a couple of small spray bottles and one of them was for bug removal. Just moisten the area, spray this stuff on and wipe lightly with a MF towel. Perfect for travel.

find a good installer and go for it. Xpel Ultimate is the way to go. Here is a write up about my GTS paint protection film from Clear Auto Bra in St. Louis http://clearautobra.com/news/st-loui...rsche-911-gts/
