I want it black inside, and with a few more options (Burmester, 18-ways with leather back, white chrono, brushed aluminum, etc). But if this car had the 'right' transmission , those savings would be VERY hard to pass up. PDK is an absolute deal-breaker for me, as wonderful as it is (and MUCH more relaxed at highway speeds). I'm not going to buy my first Porsche in automatic , especially with manuals disappearing. Good luck. You should sell it soon.

I felt the same way about the transmission -- although it almost seduced me when I rented one for two days. Still, it's not a logic driven purchase and my heart wanted six-speed.

Nonetheless, I called Brett and he gave me a GREAT discount on a my own spec'd car (8%) and I put the deposit down yesterday. He's very easy to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Holy cow; that's awesome. I only get 4.5% in AZ (no local dealers). Will call him right now. I decided to wait for the GTS, but supposedly it can be ordered in March. I'll be ready after my trip to CA (Mar 6 to 18), once I try the 14 vs 18-way seats, PSE vs stock, and a few other options. My car will sticker in the mid 90s, so that discount would bring it under 90, which sounds great. I know it makes little sense to pay that much for a Cayman, but hope to keep it for a long, long time . Thank you for the heads up. Just hope they don't require to sign deal in person, which along with shipping, would render the 'savings' useless. Take care.

I had my PDK (M-DCT) experience and as long as I remain able-bodied, I probably wouldn't ever do it again. But if I did, I sure as heck wouldn't do it in a car with a transmission stick that you push-FORWARD to upshift. Wouldn't touch one of those with a 10-foot pole. Even Porsche has recognized the error of their ways and reversed it for the GT3.

Any chance you have an S model, PDK, with either sport seats plus or adaptive sport seats plus? I'm having an impossible time finding an in stock car with those seats.
