hey Troy- mine came in via Houston as well. First point of entry to the US was Rhode island, so the rest was fantasy on my part. Funny that the trip around the tip of Florida to Houston seemed pretty short compared to the trek across the Atlantic.

Nice car. Love the seat color combo. I wish I had spent the extra money to do something like that. Your going tol love Platinium Silver. I had Artic Silver on my Carrera, but Platinium Silver looks much better to me. It has a deep rich color that looks wet.

By the way, you were there RIGHT as it was being off-loaded from the truck that brought it from the port? How did you know exactly when the truck was going to arrive, or did you camp out at the dealership for a couple of days? :P

I would love to be there right as mine is being off-loaded from the truck so please tell me how you arranged that!

Also, very impressed with how well Porsche packages the car! BMW does nothing as good as that.

I got a little lucky. The GM told me that he would send pix when the car was off-loaded, and (as usual) he delivered. They are his shots, not mine. Got lucky because they had a delivery of Cayenne's with room on the transport for my Boxster, so we actually got it two days sooner than expected. He MMS's me the shots and I was shocked to see them.

Now it's in my garage. I peeled all the film off last night, and I have to wait ten days for clear bra. The paint sealer we are going to use does not work well with the clear bra. So clear bra first, paint sealer, then this car will be driven a lot more than my 911. For sure.
