Default Coils and Plugs recommendations

I have found Rennline coils for sale at a good price. How do these compare to Beru or Porsche OEM ($)?

I generally install NGK spark plugs in my motorcycles, cars, and boats. What is the consensus on plugs for the MA 1.23 3.4 liter engine?

Thank you.

Beru is now made in China. Not necessarily a bad thing but that’s what it is and is the OEM option. Bosch is usually the recommended option for spark plugs

FCPEuro sells Bremi brand coil packs that are made in Germany. Anybody have experience?

I have the Beru, but got the last of the German ones. No issues.

Spark plugs, I would stick with OEM. Save a few bucks over OE and produced to Porsche spec.

Careful on the OEM Bosch plugs, they are being made in Brazil (as I recall). My indy shop suggested Denso plugs. They have been great.

This is a tough audience as many stick very much to what Porsche installed when their cars were assembled. Have even seen disputes relative to Porsche-branded plugs vice Bosch (the manufacturer of Porsche plugs). Seems like the plugs bearing the "Porsche" logo are better due to the logo(?). In the performance world, Japanese-made plugs are universally considered the better product. Can see why an indy shop might recommend Denso.

This is simple. Buy the OE kit that FCP Euro sells. Basically the same parts porsche uses, made by the same manufacturer, but without the Porsche logo. Upside is you'll never have to pay to replace them again as FCP warranties it all.
