Between BAT, P car market and cars and bids, what is the best auction platform to sell 13, 981 S, 6 spd. I got approved for both BAT and C&B with my reserve. Did not ask P car market yet. Thanks
If your car is a no excuses car, you"ll likely get the best price on BAT. I see some disappointing results on the other auction sites. They simply don't have the viewership of BaT.
Another option is consigning your car through someone like Avant Garde Collection. They maximize your return by presenting your car on BAT in the best possible way. They have a very good track record. The PCA has a very good YouTube video on how this works ( PCA has sold project cars through Avant Garde). The video is YouTube April 1, 2025. Good luck.

I'm interested in hearing more. Can you let me know where you post it?
Different car, but I ended up with double the final price on BAT vs C&B for an Overlanded Audi Q7, and the vehicle was not perfect. I was honest about the defects, and other than the shipping being a bit of an S-Show, it was a good experience. Shipping was not arranged by BAT, though. Definitely a MUCH larger audience.
That said, I went with a reserve on C&B, and no-reserve on BAT, this likely affected the bids on C&B, but I doubt by the difference that I ended up getting, but who knows ?
I had a pristine low mile Triumph motorcycle that BAT would not list. Burned me so much I deactivated my account. When I really turned up my 981 search I had to relinquish and use BAT to buy. It really killed me to give them my money but it is a good platform with large amount of buyers and sellers
I've bought and sold on both BaT and C&B. For a popular Porsche I find it hard to believe there's any difference in results that can be solely attributed to the platform. I don't think anyone in the car industry looking to buy or sell doesn't look at both sites all the time.
It's a complete luck of the draw whether or not the people who just so happen to be interested and actually ready to purchase are actively looking during that precise week, day, or time, your car is listed.
BaT has a bigger audience in general, a lot more listings, they sell a ton more different types of things, but that has nothing to do with how many people are real bidders looking at your specific car.
In my experience C&B has better customer support and assistance through the auction process. After using both I prefer to go with C&B for selling and have been happy with the results.

spend the money on professional photos. I do auction photo sessions for $225 near OKC and I'm cheap. I'd expect to pay $200-400 for someone who does a good job taking photos for an auction.
