Default Advice on wiring

Hello all my fellow porscheters. I am contemplating a special mod and need some advice before I start. I think I posted a couple other threads about fog lights for the 981. I'm toying with the idea of purchasing switch back Fog lights from Morimoto. Since the 981 does not come with fog light. SI have some challenges for both mounting and electrical wiring. I'm pretty sure I can tackle the mounting pretty easily, But the wiring is another story. I don't want the installation to look cheesy because hey i'm driving a porsche. So my thought is to somehow bring the electrical wires through the front wand joining them up somehow with the fog light switch that's already on the car that operates the rear fog light. That way when I turn the rear fog light on front fog lights would come on. So I guess the first question is trying to find a wiring? I need to find a wiring diagram to figure out what wires to tap into, And the bigger question is , is the alarm system gonna go haywire like it did when I installed my LED high beams, (which look friggin awesome) or does anyone forsee any computer issues.

Thanks for listening.

Are you suggesting the fog lights in place of the DRLs or in addition to them? The rear fog light is controlled by the rear BCM, and mounted under the driver's seat. Due to the unknown load of the fog lights and the capability of the BCM to allow additional current flow, you would likely be best to plan on just having the rear fog light signal operate a switching relay for the front fog lights you want to add.

In addition to the DRL's. I plan to mount them in the cavities just below the DRL lights. And yes, I only want to tap into the rear fog switch to turn them on, so I do need a separate relay. I just want to tap into the wire that closes the circuit.

So I don't have to mount a switch somewhere.
