981 and 718 rear tuning fork interchangable?
I'm looking at replacing my rear tuning forks on my 2016 981 CGTS.
As the 718 version is about half the price of the 981 version, but look the same and attach to the same part numbered coffin arm, I wonder if they are interchangeable? If not, why not?
718 part number is 892 501 401
981 part number is 981 33104 303

Hard to tell from the photos that google turns up. Interestingly the 981 part is listed as fitting the 718 GT4 but not the base models which have their specific part you listed. Which makes me think there is some slight difference. What prices are you seeing? Everything that I turned up only showed about a $20 price difference between the two.

I have ordered both versions for a UK supplier, Design 911.
The 981 version was £222 inc tax, whilst the 718 version was £114 inc Tax. Quite a difference. I can return the unwanted item for a full refund.
