I recently acquired a 2015 981 Cayman GTS Certified Pre-owned from Champion Porsche Miami. The car appears to already have a PCM 3.1 upgrade kit installed. The kit includes rearview camera, and a slew of other apps. My main interest is in activating the CarPlay feature included with it.
However, the brand of the kit is unknown and the set up for CarPlay includes a Security PIN to access the Car Play configuration feature. See attached pictures. Does anyone recognize the kit screens? I'm looking for brand, model and a method to reset the PIN.

I don't recognize it but the 3 most popular ones are Joyeauto, Isudar and Mr 12volt -- you can try searching for instructions for those 3 to see which one matches up

Success! After finding the kit manufacturer and their website, did some trial and error Google searches using the string "IDCore IDC-PCM31C manuals", found in an UK Porsche Club forum: https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/...cm-3-1.163050/

From there Google found this "hidden" web page manufacturer webpage: "https://id-core.co.uk/idcore-interface-tutorials/"

Within these tutorials then found the PIN to unlock the setup menus as shown here.

After that, followed the BlueTooth pairing procedure between my iphone and the IDCORE Bluetooth ID ("JoyeAuto" for some reason....), completed pairing and voilá! CarPlay magic ensued...

What are your thoughts on it? I just traded a 982 for a 981, and need these features back but don’t want to give up the OEM head unit.
