After 30 seconds with the key turned to accessory mode, I just started getting a "Sockets Deactivated" error. This disables the 12v outlets, PCM, and interior fans, etc.
It seems like this should be a low battery protection, but it even happens when fully charged and attached to a trickle charger. It doesn't happen when the ignition is on.

I have a Ford Bronco Sport that does the same thing with the message "Shutting down to save battery power" or words to that effect. It's annoying when I just want to listen to the radio for a few minutes.
What year is the car? How old is the battery? Pretty sure its a voltage issue. Never seen this on my 2013 BS and have replaced failing battery more than once. My car will turn off the radio after a few minutes when the car is not on. If you goggle sockets deactivated you'll find an old thread indicating its a battery voltage issue.

This is on a 2023 Bronco Sport with 1800 miles and a good battery. Ford had the same setup on my 2013 Escape. I believe that it is designed just to shut down everything electrical when you have the ignition on accessory mode for over a set amount of time. I suspect that the 891 Porsche has a similar setup.
i had the same issues with my battery (not right away - maybe after 6 months. ) after I replaced the battery and didn't code it to the car. Once I coded it - no issues anymore with the message.

Ahh, that must be what it is. I replaced the battery a few months ago but didn't code it. I'll need to look into that process.
