981 GTS in Sportplus with Manual PDK
now maybe its me but if I run SportPlus in Manual PDK mode, using the paddle shifters, it seems more perky than doing the same in Sport mode, except of course there are only 6 gears available?

Sport Plus is essentially track mode. Great on track, bad on street; at least with the PDK. Since adding SC/SP to my manual 981, I exclusively drive in Sport Plus. It's much better at rev matching than I am, and the car just feels better both on and off throttle.

In auto mode, the original programming for Sport+ was to only shift at redline.
With the revised programming from the recall, its MUCH more streetable. It's very aggressive but shifts based on throttle position and current speed in terms of holding the gear.

thks & WOW!! after 8 years I never knew the car would truly kick me in the back upshifting @ WOT in manual with Sport Plus, its almost like my F430 Scuderia, if I do the same in Sport its simply a linear change

I cant believe you are just now figuring this out Richard! What have you been doing all these years? Sports + in manual mode was the only way my car was ever driven for nearly a decade.
