Default XM stations don't all work

Group, can anyone tell me why the XM tuner on my 2015 CGTS only goes to channel 299? I've tried entering station numbers higher than that, but it's not possible. A search yielded nothing so maybe no one else has experienced this. Thanks in advance for the assist. DC

Some of the channels are "internet channels" that aren't available on a traditional XM tuner, at least, I'm pretty sure that's what it is if memory serves me right

Ssmith, not sure about that, but the higher-number stations work on all of my other cars. Is the 981's tuner just obsolete compared to my newer cars?

Talk to Crutchfield about bypassing or replacing your tuner with one of these. It is advertised as supporting the Xtra channels. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-feTODC...0V1-Tuner.html

Newer cars have newer tuners.

There was Sirius tuners, XM tuners, and SiriusXM tuners, the tuner you have is older and doesn't support those higher up channels.

One option is a Carplay/AA board upgrade and then streaming SXM via Bluetooth.

As I feared. Thanks.
