picked up a set of silver 20” Carrera S wheels for my white Cayman S which need refinishing before use, but not sure what color to go with. I was leaning toward the matte black, but would like to hear opinions as I have always loved silver wheels although all my other cars were black.
I can’t seem to get satin black center caps - Suncoast only has Gloss or Matte (this may be the satin everyone talks about)
The terms satin and matte seem to be used interchangeably by Porsche in their literature regarding these wheels. The satin/matte paint code is JE1 and is called Schwarz Matt. Also shows up as paint code BU0809.

Silver wheels look great on a black car, but not on a white one. And black wheels tend to obscure the details of the wheels. I think Satin Platinum is the perfect compromise; dark enough to make a nice contrast with the white paint, but not so dark as to obscure the details of the wheels.
It isn't one of your poll options, but I had a white 993 that I had the wheels done in matching white, and I thought it was beautiful. I always received compliments. I think it may have had to do with the white/black ( tire) / white.
It simply worked well.
