Default Steering warning light

I have a 14 boxster S almost 100k still running strong and love driving it every day. But…

Last night I turn it on and I get a warning light on startup about “steering support limited”. Car drives fine no problem. Waited a day to see if it was one of those warnings that just go away but no. Anyone had this come up and what did you have to do to get rid of the warning light

Thanks

Often strange errors are related to a failing battery.

I had to jump start my car the night the warning light came on. Will clear the code and check /replace the battery.
