Which GT4 would you buy???
2016 Rhodium Silver, buckets, PCCBs 1200 miles. 110 sticker (I think).
2016 PTS Signal Yellow, PCCB, Buckets, Radio and AC Delete, 1600 miles 117 Sticker
I think I could buy either for similar money (115+)
I would love feedback on which someone would buy and why.
Do you think the PTS holds value better than standard color?
Use will be cars and coffee, day trips, etc...

For cars and coffee or day trips, I don't think I'd be buying a GT4 at all. I'd get a newer GTS4.0 for less money.
But if I had to choose between those 2, probably Rhodium Silver.

As cool as a Signal Yellow GT4 sounds, the lack of radio and AC would be a deal breaker for me. If it’s not being used as a track car, it should be a deal breaker for you too.

If you have a way to work around the missing AC and Radio or don't need it, I would go with PTS. However, for a road trip car, I would not fathom to use a car without AC in most places (heck, even on the track AC is helpful in reducing fatigue).

Sad that neither of them have even be broken in yet after 8 years.

Having seen the listing (at ISSIMI) for the PTS with AC delete, this build looks like a "collector build": Somebody tried to create a unique, expensive build that will be one-of-a-kind and then not drive it to drive up its collector appeal. And even the wording on the ISSIMI page seems to position it as a "collector car".

I will go with the PTS for sure. No brainer for me.

I have seen the A/C delete PTS Signal Yellow car around for years. Years ago I even considered buying it. My mind is a bit foggy but two things come to mind: I believe it was sold by a high-end auction house once and I believe it was owned once by Jan Kuom.
After driving an A/C delete RS America once, I decided I could never do it.
As for Rhodium Silver, well, when I got an allocation to build a 981 GT4, I analyzed the GT4 database and realized that Rhodium Silver was the most rare (or least popular!) non-PTS color and selected it. Even though I wasn’t keen on “another silver car,” the blue hint in Rhodium is very special and I still love it eight years later.
If you buy it, you will join a select group of RS 981 GT4 owners.
