Default Convertible top fault code

We’ve been having issues with my wife’s convertible top not making it to the final open position. The dash error reads ‘top not in final position’. The fault codes are 001005 and 00100A and the description is left motor, hall sensor and right motor, hall sensor. I’ve looked at other posts around microswitch failures, but does anyone know what the fix would be for these fault codes?

Seems when lowering the top and it gets stuck, a quick flick of the top up button will actually lower the top to its final position. Does that sound consistent with a failing microswitch?

I had the same issue and the dealership wouldn't do the microswitches because they kept saying "that's not the problem". I was sure it was so bought the microswitches and had Repasi Motorworks change them out, the top works absolutely perfect now and they were able to confirm the microswitches were intermittently not making the right connections to send the signal to the top to retract the hook and the top was stopping 3/4 of the way down/up. So happy I did it, wasn't a cheap fix but necessary to enjoy the car without worry of the top getting stuck half open!

That is correct the whole top needs to be removed to access the micro switches, this also involves removing a lot of the back part of the interior. Good time to switch out seatbelts if you want to add some color to the interior...for a silver lining on the extra work that goes into this job.
