Default PIWIS2 Mods Completed so far

Ok so I am very pleased to report I have now done the following on my 2015 981 Boxster GTS;
  • GT3RS Steering
  • PTV
  • All day Lighting Instrument Cluster
  • Rear spoiler speed & height settings
  • Rain sensors
So the only other major item is the reset of the PDK gearbox??

Or am I missing something please?

I've read that many people change the coolant temperature gauge to read real time as opposed to the buffered setting.

I'm shopping for a PIWIS. Do you like yours and have a recommended source?

What difference did you notice with the PTV setting?

The instrument lighting mod is a good idea. I thought there was something wrong when I first got my car. Light gray numbers on a darker gray background DOH!

I have done the same minus the rain sensors and the water temp as stated above. Have not heard of many others worthwhile. Next thing for me is to learn about the maintenance stuff.

well with the rear spoiler you can set the speed at which it goes up and down and the height
the rain sensor is an optional extra on most cars, which if you didnt pay the $200 when new you can just switch on anyway

I plan on doing another drain and fill on the PDK in the next week or two. I will do the calibration after that. Although I have to admit my PDK is running super smooth other than the normal clunk to 1 when stopping and some slowness with 1 and 2 when cold.

activating PTV is worth it for sure for street driving. You can feel the car turn in better.

I am looking forward as long as it doesnt destroy my Carbon Brakes which were a 10k option but cost 30k to replace in parts today, I am very lucky to have them

there are definitely people out there who have PTV and PCCBs factory. Maybe they will chime in. But all it does is apply brake pressure. Can’t see anything worse but maybe faster pad wear, increased heat.
