transaxle output shaft causing noise over bumps
Hello. My '16 Cayman's PDK transaxle output shaft has an abnormal amount of free play, which is causing some low speed knocking/rattling sounds when driving at low speeds over small bumps. Has anyone experienced this problem? If so, what was the cause determined to be (faulty bearing, worn/leaking seal, etc)? Also, what was the cost to repair the problem? I appreciate any feedback on this distressing problem in a fairly new car with only 42K miles on it.
