Has anyone tried this unit? Thinking of buying one but there are not many reviews or videos on YouTube. I have the basic CDR 3.1 - no Bose or Navi, on my 981 S. Here is the link to the unit I am asking about:

There is a long and detailed informative / very useful thread on the Erisin installation in 981 on another Porsche forum. Most people installing it like it and find the installation easy. Some encounter a degree of audio hiss. Search replacing PCM3.1 with Erisin Android head unit.

The hiss is easy to get rid of with the attenuators. Overall Im very happy with the erisin. The phone call audio quality sucks, but I think this is a overall issue with android after markets.

Were you able to get rid of the beeping noise every time you click something? that would drive me crazy!
