Hi.
I am a Japanese living in Japan.
Please forgive my poor English.

My 981 boxster(my2013,left handle model) don't work left window.
The phenomenon is as follows.

·left side power window and left and right electric folding mirrors , left side lock actuator don't work.
The left window does not move when operating the convertible top.
but passenger seat window switch can operate.

·The results of the diagnostic machine is as follows
"C1 2013 No communication with door control unit. driver"

·These phenomena do not always occur,
but may be cured immediately
after the engine is started or immediately
after the engine is stopped.
The illumination of the switch glows when it can be operated and turns off when it is out of order.

·I have removed the factory navigation system
as it is no longer needed.
In doing so, we cut some of the wires
that were connected to it.

Could you tell me the following.

·I believe the cause of this phenomenon is a malfunction of the door control unit, what are your thoughts?

·The part number of the door control unit on my 981 is "4H0 959 793P".
However, the part number of many units found on ebay is "4H0 959 793AC" (or AA).
What is the difference between the two and are they compatible?

I would interpret the error code as an open circuit between the driver's door switches and the control unit, not necessarily a bad control unit. I would pull the door cards and switches and check the connections and the wiring continuity.
I also probably switch the drivers door switches into the passenger side to eliminate a bad switch.
