Default 981 Spoiler Malfunction Message.. I just want it to go way

This has been quite a journey.. the backstory is, that I purchased the car used. it at one time, had an aftermarket spoiler and the internal spoiler was not functioning. But, they removed the aftermarket spoiler. So, i expected the internal spoiler to work, but it did not. I then took the bumper off. Saw that the internal spoiler was bolted down. I did check the fuse. The motor was half broken, not all there. There was no light on the dash. and the motor did not work. I bought a used motor for $450. put it in. but the car did not see it. took it to two porsche specialists. they put it on their PC system. They tried to calibrate it. But did not see it. I was able to run power from 12V DC to the motor and it works. i then connected extension wires to the plug to the motor. I then put the plug in the trunk, so I could connect and disconnect them without taking the bumper cover off. i can now raise and lower the spoiler buy putting power to the wires. BUT, the car still does not think the spoiler is working. So, whenever i go over 80MPH i get a spoiler malfunction message on the dash. It is annoying, but i can live with it. I am afraid to take it to a dealer. They will want to change everything, including relays, and control modules. I am really good at taking the bumper cover off. I did it at least 10 times.... Hopefully someone reads this, and helps out..

Default What a freaking mess

Considering the expense and labor involved in replacing what seems like a poorly designed assembly, I decided I don't really need a tiny spoiler that moves up and down, I pulled the fuse. Problem solved.
