BTW, this is what 300 miles on track does to a new set of Michelin PS4S tires, $$$! Tops of tires are outside lip (2nd tire down- drivers left- is really worn, that’s the tire the turns hit the hardest), not enough camber (tire tilt) means uneven wear (since ultimately this is a street car I am not upgrading it to “track” camber). Hope to get 2 additional track days. Someday, a “track car” with proper camber, plus safety gear, etc. will relieve this, until then I’ll be grating down the outsides of tires. 80mph turns do all this, but man, they are a rush! For now, winter wheels are on.

I track my 2013 Boxster S with added third radiator and adjustable LCAs. I have -2.5 camber and run Hankook RS4s on 18s. Depending on the car you should be able to get -1.0 which would help a little on the track and should have no effect on the street. One option to consider is when you buy new tires get ones that are symmetrical and can be switched from one side to the other and also flipped on the rims. This is best done on another set of wheels, normally 18s. The inside of the PS4S is the wet grip and has a softer compound so definitely no flipping. I normally swap my fronts and run the RS4s backwards with no ill effect and stay off track when raining. In the end they normally heat cycle out before the tread is gone. The PS4S are great tires in the rain. I put my OEM 20s on after track season.
