PCM No Sound

PCM No Sound
Tonight after running some errands I sat down in the car and the PCM had no sound. Whatsoever.
And it would barely change modes; All I had was MAP mode, and it took 20 seconds or so to change back to TUNER. I drove home listening to the exhaust, not such a bad thing.
I read a thread on here about this, and it pointed to the culprit: My phone. I restarted the phone at the house (iPhone 11 pro), then walked back to the garage.
The PCM suddenly worked perfectly. I suspect that paired phones and cars talk to each other all the time, and if the phone gets squirrely, you wind up with the PCM throwing up its hands and sitting down like a fed-up donkey. "When you start making sense I'll start talking to you. In fact, I won't talk at all!"
This phone is about 18 months old and needs to be restarted about 3 times per month for some reason. Otherwise it works perfectly, takes great pictures.
