I remember seeing a post on alignment specs away back, probably almost 2 years ago, and I can't find that post. Can someone help me regarding a good autocross alignment spec. My thoughts are 2.5 neg front camber, 6.25 pos. Caster, total .28 degrees (.14 each side) toe out and 2 degrees neg rear with a total .14 degrees (.07 each side) toe in.
I will be running wheels with the stock specs 20X8 ET 57 front and 20X9.5 ET45 rear with Forgeline Wheels on the Yoks 245-35-20 front & 285-35-20 rear on a 2015 Cayman GTS manual tranny with X73 and PTV.
This is my current alignment, performed last week. GTS with X73 running 19x8.5et50 with 255/35R19 and 19x10et40 with 285/35R19. Front camber is maximized at -2 degrees, and caster is not adjustable. I mostly do HPDE events and toe out in front will eat my tires alive, so I run 0 toe in front, and a little toe-in at the rear for stability. edit: my OE wheels - Sport Techno in 20x8.5 et57, 20x10et50 with OE 235/35 and 265/35 sizes fit with this alignment.
You cannot get close to those front camber numbers with the stock suspension. Just have everything adjusted to the max sport setting, which is pretty good for autocross, or consider camber plates, especially ones that don’t require separate caster adjustments (Rennline?).
Stock X73 suspension, stock wheels. You can get 1.8 front, 2.3 rear. That was maximum available for my Spyder. More than the 1.6/2.0 reported elsewhere.
