Default Comfort of Boxter base manual seats

I’m looking online at a 2013 Boxter base that has the standard manual seats. My other vehicle is a 2014 Cayenne Diesel with the 14 way heated and cooled seats which I like a lot. Other than that the 981 checks a lot of boxes for me (manual trans, color, etc). The 981 also has optional seat heating and cooling which is a feature that I do enjoy. I’m an average size guy (5’9”) and really don’t fiddle all that much my seat adjustment. My 964 had standard seats and they were fine. I’m looking for any advice or warnings about the comfort of the 981 base manual seats. Thanks.

I have a 2014 Cayman Base with heated/cooled base seats. I like them. I'm 6'1" 185 lbs and they fit me nicely. I like the simplicity of the adjustments, and the vented seats work well in the hot Fresno summer.

The only thing I would be concerned about is the lack of any lumbar adjustment. I had to move it pretty far forward on my 14-ways to be comfortable but I haven't tried the base seats so it may be a non issue with those.

2014 Boxster with manual seats - no problem whatsoever. I've had other Boxsters with the 14-way seats, and I can not tell any difference between them, other than the lumbar adjustment and the controls, obviously.

Thanks everybody for your thoughts. I’m feeling better about the standard seats. This car also has an accident on the CarFax. They say it was a minor parking lot scratch that only affected the back bumper cover so I’m trying to get documentation to support that claim. Would need significant price adjustment without documentation.
