I was out at Thunderhill East yesterday with the Audi Club. I am finally starting to figure out how to be fast in this car, and I shaved a few seconds off my previous best lap to set a new best. I also recertified my MSF Level 2 Instructor certification and that is nice to have out of the way.

Hi Cliff,
Your line looks great. You can pick up a half a second by turning into T9 a bit earlier, carry a bit more speed and letting the car run all the way out to the edge and then straight lining the exit.
Thunderhill was my home track for 20 years and I have raced SCCA, NASA and 3 25 Hours of Thunderhill enduros there. Love that track and have literally driven thousands of laps there. Watching your vid made me homesick!

Thanks, Thunderhill East is my favorite track out of the 11 tracks I have driven so far. You're right about T9 - I watched some video from a friend and he is beginning his turn at the right edge of the connector. Something to work on the next time I'm there.
