Anyone have a recommendation for a good glass cleaner? I use the car daily usually for short trips and store it in the garage with the top up. I keep getting this fog-like film on the inside of the windshield - sometimes only a day or 2 after cleaning with regular glass cleaner. I have a leather dash if that makes any difference. It's non-smoking car. Some kind of chemical out-gassing maybe? Thx

That's the source of the film/fog. I found that leaving my windows slightly open helped some (My car is garaged) but regular cleaning is about all you can do. I use a tool like this (
) which makes the process fairly painless.

For me, I discovered years ago that nothing works better than a wet synthetic chamois on the film. I prefer The Absorber.

What year is your car? I have a 2013 Boxster S that is garaged with a leather dash and it does not appear to be outgassing. I've had other new cars without leather dash that clearly outgassed on to the windshield especially in the sun.
