981 engine cooling fan - both sides?
I have a 2013 Boxster. When the car is hot a fan comes on near the rear of the drivers door. Is there supposed to be a engine cooling fan on both sides of the car?
I do not hear any fan on the passenger side.

Scroll down and select the Boxster 981. If you search for the word "fan" one of them is the engine compartment fan and it lists a quantity of 2. Diagram is above. Don't see whether there is one or two temperature sensors.
I track my 2013 Boxster S with added third radiator. Several weekends ago at Summit Point it was in the upper 80s. Both of my fans came on Sunday when I came in early without a full cool down lap.
