Haven't been taking many pics of her lately as I got a new Rubicon few months ago and have been playing with it ever since, but here is a couple of my last pics I took with my drone a few months ago
Love this color. I've had two light blue metallic cars in my life (70 Mustang Mach 1 and a 2000 BMW 328ci in steel blue) along with several in black while my last Porsche was guards red.
I'm not a bright color guy though I admit admiring the guards red in my garage, so I was looking for a 981 in silver, charcoal, or white and found my agate grey with all the options I wanted, so I snapped it up.
This is a really pretty blue without standing out too much. I was just at a PCA gathering and there were 4 of us with agate grey cars, but I've never seen this blue before.

ws lucky enough to find it while searching for a 6MT so I took a quick flight to AZ and drove her home..... was a bit nervous I wouldn't like it in person, but as soon as I saw it in the outdoor staging area it was love at first sight

Detailer came by today...Mahogany Metallic looking almost black in the evening light. Also a special shoutout to the claw I keep under the upper net to tackle parking meters lol.
My personal favorite Porsche blue is Mexico Blue, but I don't think I'd own one as I prefer colors that don't stand out as much. This dark grey blue is now my favorite 981 color; I'm betting it's relatively rare as I've never seen it before.
I'm very happy with the agate grey as it's got brown tones to it and it's a color I've never owned and it had all the options I wanted, but as noted before, it's common. Not that that's a bad thing. These cars all drive amazing regardless of their color, right?
