Default Android Auto & Carplay installation demo

Hi folks, I finished my video covering wireless Android Auto and Carplay installation into the PCM and thought I would share. I take you through the products on offer, PCM removal, integration, and most importantly my own take on installation of the box, mic and a demo at the end.

A very brave install.

I personally am looking to go the other way. I want to replace my radio with a shelf. Never turn it on

I ended up doing that wireless install we’d chatted about. See the end of this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/gt4-spyd...receivers.html

The one thing I need to add in there is that the amp wake wire adds a lot of noise in the form of an alternator whine. I just installed an in-line noise filter to the wake wire and it clears everything up.

Hey Tommy, been following your updates, i've tried the x73 bars but have pasm so not the shocks and springs.

It seems like between us we will have both ends of the audio solution spectrum covered! I've owned the car for many years now so these things become less scary to attempt when the car doesn't seem so new.

Thanks

Yes is the answer! But in addition to the 981, I'm quite fond of it and actually better suited for exploring our roads over here.
