The best time to buy a car was a year ago. The second best time is probably a year from now.

I have a 2013 BS with 22K miles and was offered $48K by a dealer when I had the car in for servicing. Every Porsche dealer is desperate for cars.
In my case I was tempted by the offer and told them I'd get back to them. I then searched for newer Porsches in my area, and after talking to a couple dealers I decided to keep my car which is in perfect condition. I quickly discovered that Porsche are currently selling for obscene prices.
Great time to sell, horrible time to buy. I'd advise anyone looking for a Porsche to wait at least a year.

Yeah, both of you are right but I at least have to put out feelers. I don't mind paying a little more as a reflection of the current market but am no way paying some of the ridiculous prices asked by some dealers out there. I'll just keep being patient and looking.
